In the hearth of the Historical Center of Albenga, at the 1st floor of the largest Medieval Tower in Albenga, we open the doors of this stunning house belonged to the Cepollini Earls and rich in history. The house, 120 sm. restored to meet our guests’ comfort keep intact all the medieval characters of this historical mansion.

The “Torre dei Conti Cepollini” is rich in history: the tower itself is from the XII – XIII century, the house is from the XIII century and was the residency of the Cepollini family. In the XIII century this feudal family had a prevailing influence over the two valleys pennavaire and Arroscia getting down towards Albenga. The Cepollini family is one of the five noble families of Albenga (with Lengueglia, Cepolla, Cazzulini and Aste) the survived until the end of the Medieval age. The Cepollini Tower is built over the ancient romanic route crossing the town of Albenga on Medaglie d’Oro street, the old “Cardine Maximus” of Albenga. This is the tallest tower in Albenga, slightly leaning because of a ground movement after the earthquake that damaged the top of the tower in 1887.

More recently the home in the Cepollini Tower has been the dwelling of the Prain’s genoese family of fishermen in Albenga. This tower, home one in a kind, is made up of three rooms, all of them with private bathroom, one of these, the “Tower Room” lies into the tower itself and has a gorgious bath room with a Jacuzzi bathtub. Moreover you can find a central lounge area and a breakfast room at the mezzanine.
